After his much acclaimed debut album Pacifique Atlantique released last year, René Danger returns to Supergenius Records with an EP of remixes. He asked some of his close friends to take their turn. While Le Frit keeps the downtempo atmosphere on City Country City, bringing some glitch which takes the track to ambient and drone territories, DJ Solange heads south to the French Riviera with a tribal house vibe on Planche A Voile. Funk Master Bapt totally revisits Amoco Cadiz in a festival of electro funkiness and organ solo. Label head DJ Koyote loves so much Fuoristrada that he personally asked René Danger to do a remix, showing his love for early digital and huge synth basslines. And last but not least, René himself recorded a live version of the same track Fuoristrada at Toasted in Switzerland, blinded by the party psychedelic light show.
